Accounts Semi-Senior

My client is a forward-thinking accountancy practice based in South Kent, specialising in private equity and venture capital-backed tech start-ups — the businesses shaping the future. They work closely with some of the most exciting and high-growth companies in the UK, and they’re looking for an ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team.

The Role

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality services to  clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of fast-growing businesses

• Drafting accounting disclosures in line with FRS standards, including all technical reporting requirements

• Preparing corporate tax returns and supporting tax compliance work

• Liaising with clients and supporting senior staff on advisory projects

• Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit and supportive team

Who We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone with at least 2 years of experience in a UK practice environment, looking to deepen their involvement with entrepreneurial, high-growth clients.

You should bring:

• A solid understanding of FRS 102 and other relevant accounting standards

• Experience in preparing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns

• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with a professional and polished approach

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
