Outsourcing Manager (Practice)

With a strong portfolio of loyal and diverse clients, the firm continues to grow its reputation for delivering high-quality, value-driven outsourcing solutions.

As part of its ongoing expansion, the firm is now seeking an experienced Outsourcing Manager to lead a medium-sized team, manage a varied client portfolio, and ensure exceptional service delivery across all outsourced finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outsourced clients across a range of sectors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information and advisory support.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a medium-sized team of finance professionals.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

• Oversee the preparation and review of management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, cash flow forecasting and related services.

• Drive process improvements and implement best practices across the outsourcing function.

• Work closely with Partners to support strategic growth, client onboarding, and business development activities.

• Maintain strong technical standards and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

• ACA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with 5+ years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.

• Proven track record in managing outsourced finance functions and client portfolios.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.

• Commercially minded, with excellent client relationship and communication skills.

• Technically confident with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).

• Highly organised, deadline-focused, and adaptable to changing client needs.
