Finance Assistant

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance, with the chance to gain hands-on experience and learn the finance function from the ground up. This is a part-time position of 15 hours per week, with flexibility on how the hours are arranged across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day finance administration.
• Processing invoices, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Liaising with colleagues to resolve basic queries.
• Learning and developing new skills across all areas of finance.

Key Skills & Experience

• No prior finance experience is required but a genuine interest in building a career in finance is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Confident communicator with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
