The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Credit Controller to join the finance team. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the credit control function, helping to manage client accounts, maintain cash flow, and ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively chase overdue invoices via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Support the Credit Controller in managing aged debt and client queries.
  • Liaise with internal teams and clients to resolve payment issues.
  • Log and track queries, ensuring follow-up actions are completed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records.
  • Attend regular aged debt review meetings.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, reporting any issues to management.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator, able to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Resilient under pressure, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience within a professional services or regulated environment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of credit control systems (desirable).
  • CICM qualification (desirable but not essential).
Benefits
  • Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year.
  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:15.
