Audit Senior

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and expanding independent firm of accountants with multiple offices across Kent. They are seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join their team in North Kent.

This is a prime opportunity for a driven individual with at least 3 years' audit experience in practice, looking to take the next step in a firm that values initiative, professionalism, and career progression.

The Role:

Working across a varied client portfolio, you’ll take the lead on audits from planning through to completion, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality service. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and benefit from direct exposure to partners and senior clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading audit assignments for a wide range of clients across different sectors

• Planning and executing audits, ensuring compliance and efficiency

• Reviewing junior staff work and providing guidance where necessary

• Preparing accounts and reports for review

• Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships

• Identifying risks and recommending improvements to internal controls

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 3 years’ audit experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Either ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience

• Confident communication skills and professional client-facing manner

• Strong organisational and leadership abilities

• Commercial awareness and ambition to grow within the firm
