Practice Management Accountant

The Role

This position sits at the heart of the firm’s outsourcing and management accounting function. You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial oversight, insight, and advice to a varied and loyal client portfolio. Working closely with partners and senior management, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth running of outsourced finance functions and delivering clear, accurate, and timely management information.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of outsourcing clients across diverse sectors.

• Preparing and reviewing management accounts, forecasts, and cash flow reports.

• Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and financial reporting processes.

• Providing strategic and operational insight to clients and partners.

• Driving efficiencies, implementing best practice, and enhancing internal systems.

• Supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued success of the outsourcing division.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least three years’ experience in outsourcing or practice management. You will combine strong technical skills with commercial awareness, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
