The Role:
We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our client’s Group Finance team. This role is integral to delivering accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across the organisation. As the business continues to grow, the position offers scope to develop technically, gain exposure to complex group structures, and support ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management & Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, supporting schedules, KPIs and board reporting packs across multiple entities.
• Statutory Reporting & Compliance – Produce annual financial statements, support year-end audits, assist with tax information and complete required company secretarial filings.
• Forecasting & Analysis – Deliver project spend analysis, forward forecasts and ad-hoc financial insights for senior management.
• Controls & Operations – Maintain accurate ledgers, ensure strong financial controls, support service charge processes and contribute to system and process improvements.
• Technical Development – Stay informed on relevant accounting standards, taxation updates and legislation, while supporting enhancements to reporting tools.
Desirable Skills:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Experience in group accounting and multi-entity environments, ideally with multi-currency exposure
• Strong background in management accounts and statutory reporting
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct or similar accounting systems
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
