Bookkeeper

The Role:

• Working with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality bookkeeping and account preparation services. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Bookkeeping to trial balance

• Bank reconciliations and managing payment processes

• VAT returns preparation and submission

• Assisting with the production of small company accounts

• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships

This is a client-facing, hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and proactive communication.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

• Confident working independently and managing multiple client deadlines

• A friendly, team-oriented mindset with a professional approach

• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
