Victoria Woodin
Senior Consultant - Part-Qualified and Transactional Finance
About the Role
The Company
A growing business based in Hythe is looking to add a Senior Finance Assistant to its finance team.
This is a really nice opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved across the wider finance function and wants a role with a bit more ownership than a standard transactional position. As the business continues to grow, they’re looking for someone who can bring structure, support the day-to-day running of finance and become a reliable member of the team.
You’ll join a friendly environment where people work closely together and where there’s genuine opportunity to develop as the business evolves.
The Role
This is a broad finance role with exposure across both transactional and month-end activity.
You’ll support the smooth running of the finance function day to day whilst taking ownership of key processes and helping maintain accurate financial information across the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and likes being trusted to get on with things. There’s plenty of administration and process management involved, but also the opportunity to support reporting, reconciliations and wider finance projects.
You don’t need to be fully qualified – they’re looking for someone with solid finance experience, a proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Up to £35k depending on experience
Farrer Barnes Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation. Farrer Barnes Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
