Part-time Finance and HR Assistant

The Company

We are working with a well-established Kent-based business who are looking to welcome a part-time Finance & HR Assistant into their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied part-time role (approximately 28 hours per week), supporting across finance, payroll, HR and general office administration. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll become an integral part of the business, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations within a friendly and supportive environment.

The Role

As Finance & HR Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the office, providing assistance across finance, payroll, HR and general administration.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing their own workload while working closely with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing sales and purchase invoices using Sage
• Taking payments and handling customer queries
• Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Processing payroll
• Liaising with customers and suppliers via telephone, email and in person
• Supporting with general office administration
• Assisting with HR queries and administration

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience using Sage (essential)
• Payroll experience
• Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
• A professional, friendly and approachable manner
• Strong customer service skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
