The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly, small business on a part-time basis. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained across the business.
This is a part-time, permanent role (2 days per week / approx. 14 hours) based onsite in Folkestone.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
- Maintaining up-to-date bookkeeping records
- Bank reconciliations and cashbook management
- Managing supplier payments and queries
- Supporting payroll preparation (if required)
- Assisting with VAT returns and basic financial reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records for the business
- General administrative support within the finance function
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts support
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently in a small business environment
- Good understanding of bookkeeping processes (Sage or similar systems advantageous)
- Organised and reliable with a proactive approach
- Ability to manage workload efficiently within limited hours
- Up to £18 per hour
- Part-time role (2 days per week / approx. 14 hours)
