The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to take full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance, and commercial success of the business. Based in the UK, this role will oversee all functions including operations, finance, sales, regulatory compliance, and international manufacturing relationships. The Managing Director will work closely with shareholders and the senior leadership team to drive sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership – Define and deliver the company’s long‑term strategy, growth plans, and market positioning.
- Operational Oversight – Lead all UK operations while managing and strengthening relationships with overseas manufacturing partners.
- Financial Performance – Take accountability for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Regulatory & Quality – Ensure full compliance with MHRA, GMP, and relevant food supplement and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Commercial Growth – Drive sales growth, product development, and market expansion across the UK and international markets.
- Leadership & Culture – Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing senior management team, promoting a strong performance‑driven culture.
- Governance & Risk – Maintain robust corporate governance, risk management, and reporting structures.
- Proven experience as a Managing Director or CEO.
- Background in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, supplements, or a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of overseas manufacturing and international supply chains.
- Commercially focused with strong financial and strategic acumen.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working with boards, shareholders, or private ownership structures.
