The Role:
Our client is seeking a Financial Controller to lead a small, committed finance team. Reporting directly to the Owners and playing a pivotal role on the leadership team, you will take full responsibility for all financial operations and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to inform strategic decisions and drive overall profitability.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, manage foreign currency exposure, and maintain working capital, ensuring resilience during seasonal changes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements while proactively identifying and managing financial risks relevant to the sector.
• Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Guide and support the finance team, collaborate across departments (e.g., sales, operations), and deliver key financial insights to leadership and investors.
Desirable Skills:
• Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing multi-entity finances
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel
