Accounts Semi-Senior

About the Role

They’re looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their friendly and experienced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of businesses and further develop your technical skills in a practice that values people, not just numbers.

You’ll be involved in:

• Accounts preparation for a full and varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

• Bookkeeping duties, including the use of cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks

• Tax compliance, including personal and corporate tax returns

• Supporting Managers and Senior Accountants with client communication and ad hoc queries

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• 3+ years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience)

• A strong grounding in accounts preparation and bookkeeping

• Great communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach

• Working knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
