Accounts Assistant 12m FTC

The Company

A well-established business based in Sevenoaks with a busy, hands-on finance function. The team is friendly, down to earth and works at pace, so this would suit someone who enjoys being involved in the detail and keeping things moving day to day.

The Role

This is a 12-month FTC to support the transactional side of accounts. They’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who can come in, take ownership of the day-to-day processing, and be a reliable part of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing purchase and sales ledger activity
• Processing invoices, expenses and payment runs
• Dealing with supplier queries and supporting credit control
• Completing bank and account reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end, including accruals and prepayments
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts tasks

Skills & Experience

• AAT qualified or currently studying (preferable)
• Previous experience in a similar transactional role
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
• Good attention to detail and organised approach
• Confident communicator who’s happy dealing with stakeholders

Package & Benefits
