Accountancy Practice - Semi-Senior

We are recruiting on behalf of a small but ambitious and fast-growing accountancy practice based in West Malling. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who wants real responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and long-term career progression within a supportive and close-knit environment.

The Opportunity

This role is ideally suited to someone with around two years’ experience in practice, with a strong focus on statutory accounts production and bookkeeping. You will work closely with senior members of the firm, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

Unlike larger firms where roles can feel siloed, this practice offers genuine variety and the chance to develop into a well-rounded accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software

• Preparation of VAT returns

• Supporting client queries and building strong working relationships

• Assisting with ad hoc advisory and compliance work as the practice grows

About You

• Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)

• Approximately two years’ experience within an accountancy practice

• Strong experience in statutory accounts production and bookkeeping

• Comfortable working with multiple clients and deadlines

• Motivated, detail-focused, and keen to progress your career in practice
