Accountancy Practice Client Manager

I am working with an established and highly respected firm of accountants based in North Kent who are looking to appoint an experienced Client Manager as part of their continued growth.

This is a pivotal role within a close-knit practice, offering the opportunity to combine hands-on client management with team leadership and a strong commercial focus.

The role will include:

• Managing a mixed portfolio of small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses

• Acting as the primary point of contact and trusted adviser to clients

• Guiding and mentoring a small team, reviewing work and supporting development

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a solid background in an SME-focused practice environment. My client is looking for someone who is technically confident, comfortable dealing directly with business owners, and commercially aware.

A natural ability to build relationships is essential, along with a sales mindset — someone who enjoys spotting opportunities, growing client relationships and adding value beyond compliance.
