Accountancy Practice - Personal Tax Semi-Senior

The Role

This is primarily a compliance-focused position, working within an established personal tax team and supporting a varied portfolio of clients including high-net-worth individuals, directors, sole traders, and partnerships.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met

• Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns accurately and efficiently

• Calculating tax liabilities and advising clients on payments and deadlines

• Handling HMRC correspondence and resolving routine queries

• Assisting with capital gains tax computations and other ad hoc personal tax matters

• Supporting senior team members on more complex tax cases as your experience develops

The Ideal Candidate

I am keen to speak with candidates who:

• Have at least 2–4 years’ experience within a personal tax compliance role

• Are ATT qualified or part-qualified (CTA study support may be available)

• Possess strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance

• Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service

• Are looking to build a long-term career within a progressive firm
