The Role:
A hands-on Head of Finance role sits on the management team, overseeing all financial operations—from management accounts and forecasting to team leadership and strategic input—to support the growth and profitability of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial planning.
- Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance, accuracy, and financial integrity across the business.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and efficient financial transactions.
- Partner with directors and department heads to provide financial insight that supports decision-making and long-term business goals.
Desirable Skills:
- Solid experience in a senior finance role, ideally within property, real estate, or professional services sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, controls, and reporting requirements in a regulated environment.
- Hands-on approach with a proven track record in improving financial systems and operational processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools; experience with property-related finance systems is advantageous.
