Robin Eades
Business Director - Accountancy Practice
About the Role
We are working with a small but ambitious and growing accountancy firm in Kent that is looking for an experienced Senior Client Manager to join the team and become a key part of the continued development of the business.
This is a role for someone who wants to be more than just an accountant.
You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, oversee the day-to-day running of the office and become a trusted point of contact for clients across a broad range of industries. The portfolio includes owner-managed businesses, larger companies, group structures and overseas clients, providing plenty of variety and scope.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded, confident dealing directly with clients and capable of building strong, long-term relationships. An ability and appetite for business development and identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients would be highly advantageous.
The role
You will have a broad remit, including:
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting experience with commercial awareness and excellent people skills.
Ideally, you will:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who wants greater responsibility, autonomy and commercial involvement.
Joining a small but ambitious firm means you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact. Rather than being one of many managers within a large organisation, you will work closely with the Partners, clients and wider team and have a real voice in how the practice develops.
The firm is looking for someone who can ultimately become a key figure within the business — someone who can combine technical expertise with client management, commercial thinking and the ability to help drive growth.
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
For further details or a 1st informal discussion then please do not hesitate to contact Robin at Farrer Barnes.
