About the Role
An outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Audit Manager to take a leading role within a progressive and growing accountancy practice. This position offers autonomy, visibility, and the chance to shape the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts services to a diverse and ambitious client portfolio.
The Role
As Senior Audit Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, ensuring technical excellence, profitability, and first-class client service. You’ll mentor and develop a talented team, lead on complex technical reviews, and play a central part in driving business growth and operational quality across the department.

The Role
As Senior Audit Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, ensuring technical excellence, profitability, and first-class client service. You’ll mentor and develop a talented team, lead on complex technical reviews, and play a central part in driving business growth and operational quality across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit and accounts engagements from planning through to completion.
- Oversee and review technical work, ensuring compliance and Partner-ready quality.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver proactive business advice.
- Manage, coach, and develop audit staff, supporting their professional growth.
- Contribute to new business opportunities and firm-wide strategic initiatives.
- ACA/ ACCA qualified with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in practice.
- Current RI or able to achieve RI status within 12 months.
- Proven track record in leading audits and managing teams.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with leading accounting software.
