Payroll Officer

Farrer Barnes are delighted to be supporting a well-established leisure and sporting business with the recruitment of an experienced Payroll Clerk for a short to medium-term temporary assignment.

Competitive hourly rate | Temporary assignment | Potential for extension

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for up to 500 employees, making previous experience of managing a sizeable payroll essential.

Key experience required:

• Detailed experience using Sage Payroll
• Experience processing payroll for up to 500 employees
• Strong knowledge of manual payroll calculations
• Experience managing RTI submissions
• Good understanding of auto-enrolment pensions
• Ability to work accurately and confidently to tight payroll deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a successful and well-established organisation. There is every opportunity for the assignment to be extended beyond the initial term for the right candidate.
