About the Role

My client is a Multi-Academy Trust based in North London, looking to recruit an Operations and Facilities Manager to their support staff and lead several long-term projects.

The role will promote the operational effectiveness of the school and will take responsibility for key functions such as managing the school information system, health & safety, facilities management, administration, procurement and contract management. The Operations and Facilities Manager will ensure that the school complies with all legal and regulatory duties through good management and strong planning.

To be successful in this role you will have exceptional drive to add value to every aspect of the school’s work. You will demonstrate experience of working within a school or similar educational environment, in a role that encompasses a wide range of responsibility across the Support function. You will demonstrate strong people management skills, as the role oversees a small team and requires a highly organised and efficient individual. You will be adept at working to deadlines under pressure, managing conflicting priorities; you will display a calm and measured approach which gives confidence to others.  The role requires someone who is available immediately or on short notice as this position is initially offered on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent.
