Group Treasury Manager

About the Organisation

Our client is a growing international organisation operating across multiple regions. As part of its continued expansion, the business is strengthening its central finance capability and is seeking a Head of Group Treasury to lead group‑wide liquidity management, funding strategy and treasury operations.

The Role

This is a senior, high‑visibility position responsible for developing and leading the group treasury function. Operating in a fast‑paced, multinational environment, you will take ownership of cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, funding structures, treasury controls, and process optimisation. You will also partner closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making and ensure strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the group treasury team, ensuring effective processes and strong performance.
• Oversee liquidity planning, cash management and cash flow forecasting across all regions.
• Support senior leadership with financing strategy, funding requirements and capital planning.
• Manage debt facilities, covenant compliance and financing activities.
• Implement efficient cash pooling structures and intercompany funding processes.
• Optimise working capital and maximise utilisation of factoring solutions.
• Monitor hedging activity and ensure robust treasury controls and compliance.
• Manage global banking relationships and act as the key treasury contact for auditors.
• Drive digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement across treasury operations.
• Ensure strong internal controls and effective treasury governance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in a multinational, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong technical understanding of treasury operations.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
• Proven leadership capability with experience developing teams.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational capability.
• Relevant master’s degree or professional qualification.
• Advantageous: experience in PE‑backed environments, M&A integration or cross‑border treasury.
