The Role:

We are looking for a commercially aware Qualified Accountant responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, while ensuring robust controls.  You will be leading on transactional finance operations, and supporting business decision-making through strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis to support decision-making and Group reporting requirements.
• Oversee transactional finance operations, including sales postings, purchase ledger, reconciliations, adjustments, and banking activities.
• Support the Financial Controller in maintaining a strong control environment, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
• Develop and coach team members while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge, identify inconsistencies, and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis; familiarity with SAP or Sage is advantageous.
• Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
