Finance Assistant

My client, a school based in the Sevenoaks area is looking to recruit a dynamic and well-educated Finance Assistant on a temporary basis until the end of the year. This role could be made permanent for the right person. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be assisting in the smooth running of the finance department and ensure all work is completed to agreed timescales.

This is a challenging and varied role which offers excellent exposure to a variety of accounts functions including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, reconciliations, VAT and preparing monthly payment runs.

It is imperative that you have strong excel skills, a working knowledge of sage and previous experience within financial administration. My client is ideally looking for an AAT studier. Previous experience of working in the education sector would be beneficial.

My client is looking to fill this role as a matter of urgency so you must be available immediately and have access to your own transport due to the location.
