Accounts/ Tax Semi-Senior

The Role

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you’ll play a hands-on role in the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with business owners, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Producing corporate and personal tax returns

• Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries and business advice

• Reviewing bookkeeping and management accounts where required

• Working closely with senior team members to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial information

• Embracing technology and contributing to the firm’s continuous improvement culture

About You

We’re looking for an ambitious, driven individual who enjoys working closely with clients and is passionate about delivering quality work. You’ll be comfortable in a modern, tech-enabled environment and eager to grow your skills within a progressive practice.

Essential requirements:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) with relevant practice experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance

• Confident communicator, able to build rapport with clients

• Proficient with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about professional growth
