Accounts and Tax Semi-Senior

I am working with a well-established, multi-site independent firm based in Rye that is seeking an ambitious and polished Accounts and Tax Semi-Senior to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with more than three years of Practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you will focus primarily on accounts production and tax compliance, with a clear pathway toward reviewing work and ultimately managing your own portfolio of clients. The firm offers a supportive, family-orientated environment where professional development is genuinely encouraged, and future progression is both structured and attainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse range of clients

• Corporate and personal tax compliance

• Assisting with queries and supporting seniors and managers

• Progressing toward review responsibilities

• Developing the capability to manage a client portfolio over time

About You

• Minimum of three years’ experience within an accountancy practice

• Strong grounding in accounts preparation and tax compliance

• Professional, confident and committed to progressing your career

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
