The Role:

This role combines financial control and commercial support, delivering insightful analysis, overseeing financial aspects of key business activities, and leading planning and forecasting to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including monthly management accounts, executive presentations, and annual financial plans.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, KPIs, and variances, supporting commercial and executive teams in decision-making.
• Oversee financial governance of commercial activities, including sales, marketing, promotions, new product development, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage, develop, and support finance team members while driving continuous improvement through finance and IT projects.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels of the business.
• Proven leadership and team management capability, with experience driving transformation and continuous improvement.
• High level of commercial awareness and understanding of financial trends within both the business and wider market.
