The Role:

A Finance Manager responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across a property business, providing strategic and operational support to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee annual accounts, monthly financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including debtor and creditor control, intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and maintenance of asset registers.
• Support the Finance Director with company secretarial duties, tax compliance, accounting policies, and tendering processes.
• Provide financial insight and controls across property development, rentals, commercial management, and other group activities to support informed decision-making.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial regulations.
• Experience in property development, estate management, or working with groups of companies.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and time-management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
