The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who is either AAT qualified or currently studying towards their AAT. The role is ideally suited to someone from an accountancy background who is highly organised, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day accounting activities within a busy finance function
• Reconciling purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements
• Processing invoices and ensuring accurate coding
• Supporting month-end procedures and reporting
• Managing queries efficiently and professionally
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Providing general support to the wider finance team as needed

Desirable Skills & Experience

• AAT qualified or currently studying AAT
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook (Excel proficiency highly desirable)
• Previous accounts experience, particularly within purchase ledger
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly
