Due to a development within the finance team, my client based just outside Challock is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk on a part-time basis for a period of 4-6 months. Working 22.5 hours per week (flexible on how this is structured) you will be experienced with MS Office and preferably have experience using Sage 50.

Duties will include:
-     Producing sales invoices, including manual raising of invoices (high volume)
-     Managing accounts, ensuring all customers adhere to the agreed payment terms
-     Daily cash allocation/reconciliation
-     Checking all invoice prices and making any changes accurately
-     Resolving all supplier queries in a timely manner
-     Production of credit and debit notes
-     Maintaining customer information
-     Allocation of remittances
-     Attending weekly/monthly meetings regarding aged debt
-     Credit Control
-     Assisting with general office duties

You should have excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. You must be able to work effectively in a team and possess good numerical skills, as well as being able to problem solve.

To be considered for this role you must be available to start immediately. Interviews are to take place at the end of this week with a view that the successful applicant will start on Monday. The role is paying between £19,000 - £20,000 FTE.
