Faversham Hop Festival

This weekend sees the market town of Faversham transform into a live music venue with 3 main stages and countless acts performing in pubs around the town.

Now in its 26th year the festival has grown from a small celebration of the humble hop, to a huge festival attracting upwards of 70,000 revellers over the course of the weekend. Aside from the live music the other major draw is the product best associated with the hop – beer. Faversham is home to Shepherd Neame – Britain’s Oldest Brewery – and they feature heavily throughout the weekend. Whilst they are prominent in the town, there are also a number of pubs and venues championing other brands and smaller local breweries, making it quite the voyage of discovery for the drinks fan.
